PIP Seal

The PIP-style combines a “Pressure Inverting Pedestal” with Type B PolyPak® to provide excellent. bidirectional piston sealing in hydraulic applications. The Pressure Inverting Pedestal conforms to the beveled sealing lips of the Type B PolyPak® to provide extrusion resistance when pressure is applied to the heel side of the seal. The PIP-style requires only a dingle seal groove for installation. This eliminate the use of two Polypaks® on the piston to save space and increase bearing length.
