    ED-Style
    sealing rings are mostly used to seal threaded tube connections and fittings. As torque is applied to the connector, the elastomeric seal material is compressed to form a positive sealing line, and its special geometry keeps it from twisting during installation.

    8700-style back-up rings provided added extrusion resistance to U-Cups and similar seals with only minimal increase in gland width. They are designed to increase the pressure rating of softer elastomeric materials when higher pressures may cause extrusion problems.

    Head seals are used in static applications as replacements to O'Ring/Back-up assemblies. High performance material and a symmetrical geometry greatly reduces the risk of installation damage and extrusion at higher pressures. This product offers an improved fit and a more stable profile once installed in the housing.

    Fastener seals are primarily used to seal bolts around the smooth area of the bolt shaft. They feature an elastomeric sealing element molded in place inside a metal retainer. It offers a one-piece sealing unit that avoids having to machine an O'Ring groove in the mating hardware.

    Similar in design to the 600-series Fastener Seal, the Thread Seal features a triangular sealing element that allows it to seal anywhere along the threaded surface of the mating fastener.
